Birthing Sheroes: Bridging the gap between Then and Now

It is not just enough to provide education for the female child, it is also important that they are introduced to the education that does not occur in classrooms because when approaching real life challenges, there is a need for girls to be ready with real life skills to triumph over multiple community-based issues. On the 27th of April, the Southwest region of Kate Tales will bridge the gap between the classroom and community life.
Birthing Sheroes: Bridging the gap between then and now will enable a critical understanding of what used to be; and what should be happening to effect a sustainable change in the rural community in Ikotun, Lagos, Nigeria: the girls will learn and unlearn while also working together to identify their different inner skills, values and potential.
