North-Central: Curbing Teenage Pregnancy through Skill Empowerment

In rural communities across Kogi state, Nigeria, 2 out of every 10 girls are pregnant before the age of 18, due to lack of proper sex education, extreme poverty, gender inequality and unemployment. On the 15th of May 2019, The North Central Region of Kate Tales Foundation would organize a sex education campaign to create awareness to reeducate young girls, and also provide a skill acquisition class for business skills development in local communities in Kabba.
